Vatech Green CT2 Scanner

3D CBCT imaging for precise diagnosis and surgical planning.

The current emerging standard of care in dentistry and dental implantology is the use of 3D X-ray studies. 3D imagery allows a doctor to collect the highly valuable diagnostic information needed to best plan and deliver dental surgical care. The Vatech Green CT2 3D CBCT imaging system can be used for an array of applications, including endodontics, implantology, surgery, fractures, and orthodontics, as well as TMJ assessment. The images accurately show the patient's anatomy and evaluate bone volume and quality. A typical scan takes only 20 seconds and exposes the patient to a very safe and minimal amount of radiation. The doctor can also share a visual diagnosis with patients, making them more comfortable with their treatment plan and active participants in their care.

  • 3D imaging for implants, endodontics, surgery, orthodontics, and TMJ
  • Accurately evaluates bone volume and quality
  • A typical scan takes only about 20 seconds
  • Very safe, minimal radiation — with a shareable visual diagnosis

Low Dose Digital X-Rays

Essential diagnostic images with far less radiation.

Dental X-rays are essential preventative and diagnostic tools that provide valuable information not visible during a regular dental exam. Digital radiography uses digital X-ray sensors to replace traditional photographic film, producing enhanced computer images of teeth, gums, and other oral structures and conditions. This allows the doctors to get a much better view of the patient's teeth and any potential dental conditions. The digital imaging software captures a number of different views to gain the best understanding of the situation and develop the most appropriate course of care. Digital sensors are more responsive than film, so much less radiation is required to produce an image.

  • Digital sensors replace traditional X-ray film
  • Enhanced images of teeth, gums, and oral structures
  • Multiple views for the most accurate diagnosis
  • Much less radiation than film

iTero® Element™ Digital Scanner

Comfortable, putty-free digital impressions.

The iTero scanner allows the dentist to take a digital impression — a highly accurate, digital 3D image of the individual characteristics of the patient's tooth surfaces and gum tissue. It's designed to keep the patient comfortable while delivering precise imagery quickly, without the putty-filled impression tray that makes so many people uncomfortable. The built-in simulator even lets us create a preview of what your teeth may look like in a straighter, corrected position — so you can see how orthodontic treatment can improve your smile before treatment even begins.

  • Highly accurate 3D digital impressions
  • No messy, putty-filled impression trays
  • Fast, comfortable scanning
  • Preview your straighter smile before treatment begins

Intra-Oral Camera

See exactly what we see inside your mouth.

With the intra-oral camera, the patient can see where and how the dentist will be working on their teeth. This miniature video camera produces a clear and accurate picture of the inside of your mouth, allowing the patient and doctor to make informed decisions together about how work will be done.

  • Miniature video camera for a clear, close-up view
  • Live images shown right on screen
  • Make informed treatment decisions together

Laser Dentistry

Gentle, often anesthesia-free care — no drills or scalpels.

Laser dentistry offers the patient the opportunity to have a safe, anxiety-free dental experience without drills and scalpels and, in most cases, without anesthesia. The laser acts as a cutting instrument or a vaporizer of the tissue it contacts during surgical and dental procedures. It uses laser energy and a gentle spray of water to perform a wide range of procedures — without the heat, vibration, and pressure associated with the dental drill. The laser beam also sterilizes the affected area and seals off blood vessels, which minimizes the chance of infection or bleeding, so patients are far more comfortable during and after treatment.

  • Minimizes heat, vibration, and pressure
  • Often no anesthesia required
  • Sterilizes the area and seals blood vessels
  • Lower chance of infection or bleeding

DIAGNOdent Laser Cavity Detection

Finds decay early — before it can spread.

DIAGNOdent is an advanced laser technology that helps dentists find tooth decay more accurately and reliably in its earliest stages, before it has the chance to cause widespread damage. We use it alongside visual examinations, dental explorers, and X-rays. The DIAGNOdent handpiece scans your teeth with harmless pulses of laser light. When the laser reaches decay under the surface of the tooth, the decay emits a fluorescent light that bounces back to the sensor and is translated into an audible signal and a digital readout. In general, the higher the number, the greater the amount of decay in the tooth.

  • Harmless laser light scans for hidden decay
  • Detects decay beneath the tooth surface
  • Audible signal and digital readout
  • Used alongside exams and X-rays
