TMJ Treatment in Woodland Hills, CA

Today was my first visit to this office and in less than 30 minutes I had already had an amazing experience with them. I had horrible tooth/jaw pain that took up the entire left side of my face last night, to the point where I was looking up emergency and 24 hour dentists (to no avail). My regular dentist is closed today and I knew I couldn't wait until Monday when theu reopened, so I found this dental office that opens at 8 and called at 8:30 to see if I could come in. As soon as my call was answered and I explained the pain I was having and explained that I had never been with them before, they told me to come in right then and there so they could try and take care of me. I drove over and when I walked into the waiting room (very beautiful/nice office by the way), the office manager Dawn processed my paperwork and I was seen in less than 10 minutes. Every person I came into contact with was genuinely so sweet and nice. They even helped me set up a specialist appointment for today in Westlake Village and gave me a prescription for antibiotics to start helping me with the infection that we found out I had.Before I left, I made the decision to switch over to this dental office, and I'll be back in a few weeks to schedule my first cleaning with them 💛

I had a wonderful experience. I needed my wisdom extracted in an emergency and had already waited over the weekend to finally get to a dentist. This office was the 3rd one I had to call because all the other place’s “Emergency Services” was not too much of an emergency to them because the soonest those places could see me was in the middle of April.So when I called here at tWoodland Hills office, it sounded like I was gonna have to wait just as long because of the surgeon’s schedule.I was so defeated at this point cuz no one could do same day wisdom tooth extraction and I was in terrible pain. They handed the phone over to Miss Dawn, and I let her know my situation, and how many days I’ve already waited, in pain, and how I could not wait any longer and needed something in the next one or two days max.She totally understood my pain and where I was coming from and was able to have me come in for same day consultation, and made the whole process such a breeze! Very quick! And they were able to refer me to their Ortho surgeon down the street that they work with for a next day wisdom tooth extraction. Thank you so much for your help! This will be my new regular dentist! Everyone was so sweet in helping me. Small little office but it is really nice and professional looking. Thank you Dawn and your whole team!

I am a 54 years old male, who used to live in Cleveland, OH, Bay Area, CA and now made my permanent move to Woodland Hills, CA. That said, I have seen and have dealt with many dentists in every location that I have lived in. Woodland Hills Dentist office was the first place that I contacted in order to establish a long-term relationship to take care of my 54-year old teeth. My first visit was super pleasant and courteous. Doctors and staff members at the office were super friendly and professional right from the start. I had X-rays taken of my teeth, deep cleaning done, as it was time for it. Then we had scheduled future appointments to get my missing crown replaced and two small cavities filled. I am very tolerable to pain by my nature; however, there was no need to tolerate any pain, as I did not feel any pain at all. Compared to other dental offices that I used to belong to, with full honesty and pleasure, I am giving #A1+ rating to Woodland Hills Family Dentistry. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a professional, honest dentists who really care about their patients and not their bank accounts, like most dentists do. Keep up the great work, Woodland Hills Family Dentistry Staff !!!!

I fractured a molar on Saturday and after speaking with Dawn I was immediately put at ease. Because it wasn’t emergent, I called the office Monday and had an appointment for that morning. Throughout the whole process Dawn was engaging, knowledgeable, professional, helpful, and empathetic. Think of a positive adjective and it probably applies.During the appointment, Diane handled the X-rays and prep like a true professional. Pleasant and efficient during the whole appointment.Dr. Yousefi is excellent. She explained and walked me through the whole process. There were no surprises. She answered all my questions in a way that only someone that actually cares, has the experience and expertise could.Heck, the whole office and patient rooms were remodeled recently in a bright inviting manner. Adding to the comfort of the whole dental practice.All of this is the reason my whole family goes here and that I recommend them to family and friends.

I’ve been coming here for years and my whole family does too, and they are the best dentist ever. Everyone is always so kind and welcoming, and Dawn, Marianna, Dr. Yousefi, and Atifa are all amazing. I love them so much! They make you feel so comfortable the second you walk in. They’re so gentle, patient, and always take the time to explain everything so you never feel nervous or rushed.I used to hate going to the dentist due to bad experiences in the past, but now I actually feel relaxed and safe when I go because of them. They truly care about their patients and it really shows in the way they treat you. You can tell they genuinely love what they do.If you’re looking for a dentist where you’ll feel comfortable, taken care of, and not stressed at all, this is the place. Just THE BEST! Tl:dr I would drive through LA during rush hour to get to Woodland Hills Family Dentistry !!I am from out of state and have had the same dentist my entire life (30 years). I was VERY scared to see a new dentist. I tried going to a couple of other offices with no luck. I couldn’t even get past the consultation. Fast forward a year, and I needed to see a dentist ASAP. They got me in, took care of me, and they are the most gentle and patient group I have ever seen. If you’re scared of the dentist, come here! They explained every thing to me, and addressed the issue I came in for first, then discussed my other options for preserving my smile. They were Not at all pushy, dismissive, and at No point did any one even attempt to guilt me for having waited so long to come in. I LOVE THIS DENTIST!

UPDATE: 3/24I had tooth pain the night before. I called in the morning and they were able to fit me in. I didn’t have my anxiety medication on me since it was a list min appt. Dr.Shant was sooo amazing and patient with me. I had him stop so many times bc my anxiety was through the roof. He never once appeared annoyed. He took his time and made me feel so comfortable. Everyone in the office did. This is why I continue coming here. This office, the dentists, staff everyone is always the best.OLD: the friendliest staff and dentists. They really make you feel comfortable and at ease. I am not the easiest dental patient (lol) but Dr Yousefi is very patient with me. Dawn and the rest of the office staff are absolutely amazing. I highly recommend coming here.
